Ever wondered why vegetables are so delicious? For those of you who don’t like veggie hold on to that taught, am gonna make you say the opposite ๐
I have been loving broccoli a lot lately & often look for different ways to eat it. Which led me to this amazing quick & delicious recipe “crunchy pops” is what I like to call them as, yea it is crispy. You too love munching on crispy crunchy food, don’t you?
Here is how you too can cut off on that junk & add some goodness on your place.
Ingredients:
- Broccoli – 200g / 2cups
- Olive oil – 2 to 3tbsp
- Garlic -3 big cloves finely chopped/garlic powder -1/2 tbsp
- Ground paprika/chili powder -1/4 tbsp I like it spicy so I add a little bit of both
- Italian seasoning -1/2 tsp
- Salt – as per your taste
- Parchment paper or nonstick baking tray
First thing first, do the basics. Cut the broccoli in to small sized florets, wash them under running water & you are good to go.
Steps:
- Pre heat the over to 400C for 15mins (conventional oven) for micro wave oven 3mins will do
- Combine all the ingredients mentioned
- Alter the quality more or less as per your taste
- Put the mixture on the tray & spread it around so they aren’t cluttered over each otherย โ
- Pop them in the oven for around 10-13 mins (extend or reduce bake time depending on your oven & the quantity)ย
- Should look something like thing ๐after 10-13mins
- Take it out, flip them all & bake on the other side for 8-10mins & you are done ๐
Tips to ensure the crunch:
- Once the broccoli is washed make sure to drain off excess water. Put the florets on a thick kitchen towel & allow them to dry completely
- Make sure the oven is nice & hot before hand
All set & ready to be served ๐๐ป You could have it as a snack or as a side dish. I like it with pasta, it makes the best combo. You should try it too. Do let me know in the comments how you’re Crunchy Pops turned out & how you liked them. I would love to know ๐
Looks yummy… I will tell my mom to try this.
